Inter could make a move for former player Keita Balde in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s paper edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
With Alexis Sanchez facing several months out due to injury, Inter find themselves short in the attack and have drawn links to several players in the media in the days since the Chilean sustained his ankle injury.
Senegalese international Keita Balde spent the 2018/19 season on loan at the Nerazzurri from Monaco and scored five goals in 29 appearances across all competitions. Inter had an option to sign him permanently but passed up on the opportunity due to financial fair play reasons.
This season he has been limited to just 159 minutes across six appearances and has managed to net two goals in that time.
Keita Balde aside, Inter have also drawn links to Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud, pending free agent and former player Zlatana Ibrahimovic and Juventus’ Mario Mandzukic among a number of others.
