Inter manager Antonio Conte is currently weighing up when he will put Stefano Sensi back in to the starting eleven according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.
Over the course of the international break Sensi has managed to recover from the injury he sustained in the Derby D’Italia defeat to Juventus.
Inter are due to take on Sensi’s former employers Sassuolo away from home on Sunday lunchtime in what will be their first game of seven in a 21 day period.
Having only recently got back into full training it now remains to be seen whether Conte will deploy Sensi among the starters at the first opportunity or hold off from doing so and instead start him in the Champions League group stage match with Borussia Dortmund next midweek.
The 24-year-old has been the surprise star of the season for Inter scoring three goals and providing four assists in nine appearances across all competitions.
