The refereeing appointments for this upcoming weekend of Serie A action have been confirmed with Daniele Chiffi assigned to referee Inter’s match at home to Parma.

34-year-old Chiffi will be refereeing his fifth game of the season across all competitions when he takes charge of Saturday evening’s match at San Siro, with kick-off scheduled for 18:00 local time.

In the four previous matches he has refereed this season, between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, he has dished out 17 yellow cards and one red card.

He will be assisted on Saturday by Giorgio Schenone and Giovanni Baccini whilst the fourth official for each side’s ninth league match of the season will be Maurizio Mariani. Gianpaolo Calvarese has been assigned to take charge of VAR and will be assisted by Pasquale De Meo.

Inter come into this game sat in second place with 21 points from a possible 24 whilst Parma are currently in eighth place with 12 points.
