In today’s print edition of the newspaper, Corriere della Sera have praised Inter for the performance which they put in in last night’s 2-0 triumph over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League group stage at San Siro.

“Conte’s team is many things all together: they are both cynical and mature, cold and attentive. Inter played with the right spirit and kept a clean sheet after having conceded seven goals in the last three matches,” it begins.

“Inter brought home the result thanks to the minor details and from few chances. They kept a low tempo and great tensity in the middle of the park, where patience was needed to seize the right opportunity, against a Borussia Dortmund side huddled in their own half after they first went behind.

“Candreva cancelled out the possibility of Inter suffering late on and Inter have driven away the Champions League taboo. Now they can dream.”
