Sebastiano Esposito could end up changing Inter’s January transfer window plans according to a report in today’s paper edition of Tuttosport.
The 17-year-old striker came off the bench for his first appearance of the season in Wednesday’s 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
Should he continue to make such a positive impact between now and January Inter may be able to forget about having to try and sign another striker to bolster the attack which would mean they could focus entirely on adding to the midfield.
Inter have drawn links to several strikers in recent weeks such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud and it is now all up to Esposito as to whether Inter may need to go in for either of them or another striker.
At youth level this season, when he has not been on the bench for the first team, he has scored three goals in three games.
