Arturo Vidal has rejected a chance to move to China as he wishes to reunite with former manager Antonio Conte at Inter according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG offered the Chilean a two year contract with an option of a third worth €10 million a season but this has not interested him in the slightest.
Vidal, as per the report, dreams of returning to Italy, where he worked under Conte at Juventus. The two have a great relationship together and Vidal has recently credited Conte for helping him become the player he has.
Vidal’s agent Fernando Felicevich is to meet with Barcelona management in December to make his client’s intentions known but it remains to be seen if it will make Barcelona change their mind.
Barcelona value Vidal at €15 million but Inter would prefer to take the 32-year-old on loan with an option to buy attached. As things stand however, Barcelona do not want to let him leave.
