Lautaro Martinez has been named in Lionel Scaloni’s 26 man squad for Argentina’s upcoming friendly matches during the next international break.

The 22-year-old has made 15 appearances for the Argentine national team and can boast a goal tally of nine from those matches.

He is joined in the squad for the matches with Brazil and Uruguay by the likes of Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero and Juventus’ Paulo Dybala.

There is however no room in the squad for Mauro Icardi, despite him scoring seven goals in his last five games for PSG.
