Stefano Sensi will make a return to the Inter starting line-up for tonight’s Champions League group stage match away to Borussia Dortmund according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian midfielder made a return to the bench for this past weekend’s Serie A match away to Bologna after missing the Nerazzurri’s previous four games as a result of an injury he picked up during the most recent international break.
Sensi will be taking the place of Roberto Gagliardini who has not travelled with the rest of the team to Germany due to a muscle problem. The former Atalanta player is expected to make a return after the upcoming international break.
Gagliardini will be one of three players missing out on the match at Signal Iduna Park. Kwadwo Asamoah is to also miss out due to a knee problem as is Danilo D’Ambrosio, who, despite kicking the ball again after his broken toe, is still in some pain.
