Lautaro Martinez visited hospital following Inter’s win over Hellas Verona after sustaining a head knock during the match which Inter won 2-1 according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Argentine youngster took a blow to the head from Gialloblu goalkeeper Marco Silvestri and told club doctors he was feeling dizzy and nauseous.
He was accompanied to the hospital by his girlfriend and the tests run by the doctors confirmed that there were no problems and cleared him.
The 22-year-old striker will therefore be able to report for international duty as expected for the Albiceleste’s international friendly matches with fellow South American nations Brazil and Uruguay.
The former Racing Club striker, who joined the Nerazzurri back in the Summer of 2018, has really come on this season. He has made 16 appearances across all competitions to date. In 1150 minutes, he has scored eight goals and provided three assists.
