In an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, during the ‘Sky Calcio Club’ show, legendary Italian football manager Fabio Capello has shared his views on Inter midfield pair Nicolo Barella and Stefano Sensi.
“Barella was more timid so he took time, maybe Sensi is more open which allowed him to immediately impose himself. They are two players who could play in any team,” Capello, who had great success whilst managing AC Milan, said.
“I would prefer to see two Italians like them to play over the many foreigners who currently play in Serie A. Well done to Inter for buying two of the three most promising young Italian midfielders. The third player is Nicolo Zaniolo.”
Barella has made 16 appearances across all competitions this term in which he has scored two goals and provided three assists.
Injury has meanwhile limited Sensi to 10 appearances, in which he has scored three goals and provided four assists for his teammates.
