Gianluca di Marzio reveals on his blog that Inters sporting director Piero Ausilio was present at Barcelonas game against Bayern today and that the first contacts with the Spanish club were made:
“Inter and Barcelona meet. A blitz in Spain from the sporting director Ausilio and the first contacts with the Barcelona directors have been made. Just like Juventus yesterday at Madrid(where Ausilio was also present), Inter were at the Camp Nou today. Ausilio saw the game, but he also began the contacts for the coming silly season period. The two clubs will talk and meetings are planned for the coming hours. On the table the names of Montoya and Alexis Sanchez from Barcelona, whilst the Catalans like Handanovic. And there’s another new name, Inter like Marc Bartra, the central defender born 1991 who played both games against Bayern from start. For the first time the question about Handanovic will be dealt with in person. And the trip to Barcelona could be the right occasion to contact the agents of the three players that Inter like.
