Former Inter striker Christian Vieri has praised Inter for their continued good form in the league following their 3-0 win over Torino at the weekend.

After the win over the Granata, Inter have won 11 of their 13 league games to date and continue to keep up the pace with league leaders Juventus, who are just one point ahead of them.

Speaking during an appearance on Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset’s show Tiki Taka, Vieri, who played for Inter between 1999-2005, firstly praised Inter’s strike force.

“Antonio Conte is a drill sergaent and also has a good team at his disposal. He has two strikers who are scoring many goals in Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.”

The former Italian international then took a more general look at the Inter team as a whole.

“Inter are a tough team, who never give up and Conte makes sure that they do not give up. They are a strong team who are hard to beat.”
