Kwadwo Asamoah is aiming to return to action for Inter’s game with Roma next week according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The Ghanaian defender has missed Inter’s last five games due to a knee problem and began to train again with the rest of his Inter teammates yesterday.

This weekend’s match at home to SPAL will come just too soon for the former Juventus man with a return against Roma far more likely. Failing that, he will look to make himself available to Inter manager Antonio Conte for the match thereafter, which is the final Champions League group stage match against Spanish giants Barcelona.

The 30-year-old joined Inter as a free agent back in the Summer of 2018 and has since went on to make 52 appearances across all competitions for Inter.

This season he has made 10 appearances across all competitions. In 881 minutes on the field, he has managed to contribute a single assist.
