Radja Nainggolan has shared his delight at how things are going for him at loan club Cagliari following another masterclass in the Rossoblu’s 4-3 win over Sampdoria last night.

“Why am I not among the best midfielders of the past season? I certainly did something less good than the others, but I am happy with how the year went for me. I helped Inter to qualify for the Champions League. I am happy with how things are going both for me and for Inter,” he remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

“I wish to thank Antonio Conte but the club made a choice and I am happy to be here at Cagliari. Ausilio is keeping an eye on me? I definitely think about what I am doing now that another chapter of my career has opened.”

He concluded: “I am sorry for how it ended for me at Inter. Some choices are made that just have to be accepted. They were straight with me and I appreciate that. Now I am at Cagliari trying to do my best and I am having a great time.”
