Lorenzo Pirola has spoken on how it feels to be able to train alongside top defenders like Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar at Inter.

“My personal goal is to grow and do the best I can in the Nerazzurri shirt,” he told Transfermarkt.it.

“This is my fifth year at Inter and I have improved a lot thanks to all the work that the club staff have put in. Training with defenders like Stefan de Vrij and Milan Skriniar is a real privilege for me.

“They are always available and ready to give me advice. I try to get some inspiration from the best.”

Pirola has made 14 appearances across all competitions for Armando Maddona’s Primavera side this term, in which he has helped the team to keep an impressive nine clean sheets. He also played in all five of Italy under 17’s matches at the recent under 17 World Cup in Brazil.
