The president of the Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A has announced that Genoa – Inter, the Week 37 match of the 2012/13 Serie A season, will be played on Sunday 12 May at 12:30 (instead of the originally scheduled kick-off time of 15:00). The announcement follows the decision of the Prefect of Florence, who ordered Fiorentina v Palermo to be brought forward to 12:30 in order to ensure an orderly exit of spectators from the stadium and surrounding area, taking into account the arrival of Giro d’Italia. Since Genoa, Torino and Palermo are all involved in the fight to avoid relegation to Serie B, all their matches have been moved to be played at the same time.
