Inter and Matteo Darmian have reached an agreement over personal terms according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.
The Italian defender, who Inter helped Parma to bring back to Italy after a spell in England with Manchester United, will more than likely join Inter at the end of this season.
Although the report does suggest that it cannot be completely ruled out that Inter do not try and bring him in this month instead.
It ultimately all depends on how Inter fare in their hunt to provide manager Antonio Conte with a new left back after the former Italian national team manager identified it as a position needing reinforcement to club management.
There has been no shortage of links to left backs in the media in recent weeks with Chelsea pair Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso linked as well as Sporting’s Marcos Acuna and most recently Arsenal and Bosnian international Sead Kolasinac.
