Ionut Radu could be set to return to Inter six months ahead of schedule according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Romanian shot-stopper was shipped out on loan to fellow Serie A club Genoa for the season but the struggling Rossoblu have now brought in Mattia Perin which has left it looking extremely likely that Radu will have to settle for being second best.

For this reason, Inter and the player’s agent Oscar Damiani are currently evaluating the best course of action to take with the 22-year-old.

It could well be the case that Inter recall him from his spell with the Grifone before shipping him out elsewhere on loan for the remainder of the 2019/20 season in order to help him continue his development.

This season Radu has made 18 appearances across all competitions, in which he has conceded no less than 36 goals. He has managed to keep two clean sheets in his time on the pitch as well.
