Lazio attacker Joaquin Correa could make a return to action when the high flying Aquile play host to Inter in just under two weeks time according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport 24.

The Argentine attacker is currently dealing with a muscle injury and missed this past weekend’s resounding 5-1 win over SPAL and he is certain to miss Simone Inzaghi’s side’s next matches against Hellas Verona and Parma.

The 25-year-old has made 23 appearances across all competitions for the Italian capital city club this term. In little under 1800 minutes on the field, the former Sevilla man has contributed seven goals and also provided four assists for his teammates.

Correa is one of four players currently nursing an injury in the Lazio squad with Danilo Cataldi, Patric and Luiz Felipe all also currently dealing with injury problems of their own.

Lazio will be hoping that Correa can return for the match against Inter due to the fact other attackers Luis Alberto and Ciro Immobile are both at risk of suspension at the moment.
