Uruguayan national team manager Oscar Tabarez has named a 26 man squad for the Uruguayan national team’s two opening 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
The entire team is made up of players playing their football outside of Uruguay for the matches against Chile on March 26 and then Ecuador almost a week later on March 31.
Inter duo Diego Godin and Matias Vecino have both made the cut with the likes of Paris Saint Germain’s Edinson Cavani, Cagliari’s Nahitan Nandez and Juventus’ Rodrigo Bentancur also in the squad.
