Manchester City are ready to make a fresh move for Inter defender Milan Skriniar according to a report from CalcioMercato.com.

The reigning Premier League champions previously saw a €60 million bid for the Slovakian international centre back rejected but will come in with a new and improved bid this Summer.

Inter are said to value Skriniar at €85 million and have no intention of letting one of the team’s best players leave the club as they consider him a key player for the coming years.

The 25-year-old joined Inter in the Summer of 2017 from fellow Serie A club Sampdoria in a player plus cash deal that saw Gianluca Caprari head to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris club.

Skriniar, who is under contract with Inter until the end of the 2022/23 season, has been near enough ever present this term having appeared in 31 of the club’s 35 games across all competitions. Skriniar has tallied one assist and helped the team keep several clean sheets.
