Inter have decided that they will take up their option to sign Stefano Sensi on a permanent basis at the end of the season according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.
Sensi has struggled to keep himself fit during the course of his loan spell from fellow Serie A club Sassuolo but what he has done, particularly at the start of the season, has been enough to convince Inter that he is a player they should keep around past the end of this season.
Inter will sit down with Sassuolo at the end of the season and at this moment they are expected to tell the Neroverdi club they will take up the €25 million purchase option.
Italian national team midfielder Sensi has made 17 appearances across all competitions to date. In slightly over 1000 minutes on the field, the former Cesena player has scored three goals and provided four assists for his Nerazzurri teammates.
