In today’s print edition, Corriere dello Sport have shared their belief that Inter need to make some changes to the defence in the upcoming Summer transfer window.
The Rome based newspaper believe that Inter have three top defenders in Stefan de Vrij, Milan Skriniar and Diego Godin in their ranks but they are in fact all very much similar in the sense that they are out and out defenders.
The report goes on to state that Inter manager Antonio Conte could do with someone different for his three man back line such as someone who is capable of venturing forward with the ball and helping in the build-up phase of the game.
Inter have been linked with a number of centre backs in recent weeks and months including Hellas Verona’s Marash Kumbulla and Lazio’s Francesco Acerbi.
Kumbulla is one of the highest rated young defenders at the moment in Italy whilst Acerbi has cemented himself as one of the best this season.
