Bayern Munich have let Ivan Perisic know that they have a willingness to take up their option to buy him at the end of this season according to a report in today’s print edition of German sports newspaper Sport Bild.

The Croatian national team winger joined the reigning Bundesliga champions on a season long loan with option to buy from Inter this past Summer and Bayern can turn his stay into a permanent one for a sum of between €15-20 million.

Perisic is currently out on the sidelines with an ankle injury, an injury which some reports suggested could have costed him a permanent move to the Bavarian club but this report would suggest that what he done prior to his injury was enough to convince the Bayern Munich management.

The former Wolfsburg player has made 22 appearances across all competitions to date this term, in which he has scored five goals and provided eight assists for his teammates.
