Juventus are willing to sacrifice Miralem Pjanic in order to sign Inter owned striker Mauro Icardi according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Bianconeri club are in advanced negotiations over a player swap deal involving Pjanic whilst Paris Saint Germain and Chelsea are both also said to be interested in acquiring the Bosnia and Herzegovina nation team midfielder.

Icardi is currently out on loan at the newly crowned French champions and they have an option to sign him outright for a sum of €70 million.

If Paris Saint Germain sign Icardi permanently, Juventus could start talks with them and offer former Roma player Pjanic as part of a deal for the Argentine.

If a swap deal with Barcelona or Paris Saint Germain involving Pjanic does not take place, the report from the Rome based newspaper goes on to explain that Pjanic could be exchanged for Chelsea duo Jorginho and Emerson Palmieri, who has been linked with Inter.
