Tonight could be the last time that Sandro Tonali plays against Inter as an opponent according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
Inter continue to have every intention of signing the highly rated 20-year-old midfielder from La Rondindelle, whose president and owner Massimo Cellino wants €50 million for.
Inter do not want to pay that much for him and would prefer to do a loan with obligation to buy deal worth €35 million for him.
After Achraf Hakimi’s signing is completed, Tonali could well be the next signing that the Nerazzurri complete ahead of the coming season.
Tonali performed well when Inter last met Brescia and it was his performance in that match which encouraged Suning to push harder to sign him.
This season the Italian national team player has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored one goal and tallied five assists.
