Inter manager Antonio Conte has made it clear to the club that he would rather see Milan Skriniar sold than Lautaro Martinez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Lautaro has long been courted by Spanish powerhouses Barcelona but Conte has made it clear that if it were solely down to him, he would rather sacrifice Slovakian national team defender Skriniar in order to raise funds for the transfer market.

Skriniar has been linked to both Manchester City and Manchester United as of late in various reports and many reports have suggested that Inter will let him leave the club provided they receive an offer for him in the region of €60 million.

The 25-year-old, who joined Inter in 2017 and has a contract until 2023, has made 37 appearances across all competitions to date. In his time on the park, he has provided two assists for his teammates.
