Inter are looking to reach an agreement with Manchester United for Alexis Sanchez and are moving away from signing Roma’s Edin Dzeko, according to a report from Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio on Sky Sports last night, as reported by FcInter1908.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking to keep the Chilean forward in Milan for another season, although aren’t looking to sign him permanently due to his astronomical wages. The two clubs both would like to reach an agreement but negotiations will continue to reach an acceptable deal.

Inter are less interested in the idea of signing Dzeko, the report continues, as the arrival of the Bosnian would depend on the future of Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez. Should the 22-year-old forward remain in Milan, the Milanese club would prefer would to sign a younger striker, rather than an aging veteran.

However, the Nerazzurri would change their mind about Dzeko should Lautaro be sold to the Blaugrana or Man City.
