Inter coach Antonio Conte has identified fatigue as an important issue and isn’t pushing the squad as hard as before, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Corriere della Sera.

The report details how the Lecce born coach complained about the fatigue at a pre-match press conference yesterday, due to the fact that the squad are playing every three or four days in the summer heat.

The former Chelsea and Juventus boss has lowered the intensity in the training sessions, hoping to preserve as much energy as possible for the remaining games of the season.

Inter still have three more league games to play, starting with this evening’s clash against Genoa, the report continues, before two important games against Napoli and Atalanta. The Nerazzurri then face Getafe in the Europa League only three days after their game against the Bergamo based club, with a win resulting in more games yet to play.
