Inter are in the race to sign Hellas Verona starlet Marash Kumbulla, whose fate will be known by the 10th August, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.
The report details how the 20-year-old Albanian defender has impressed in his debut season in Serie A with the Gialloblu, with Inter and Lazio both incredibly keen to secure the player’s signature this summer.
President Maurizio Setti suggested yesterday that Kumbulla’s future will be clear by the 10th August, with his future home likely to be one of the two Italian clubs.
Kumbulla would become Inter’s top objective in one instance, the report continues. That case is if coach Antonio Conte would prefer to sell Milan Skriniar or Marcelo Brozovic this summer in order to fund new deals, instead of selling Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez to Barcelona.
If the Argentine forward remains, the Nerazzurri can focus on other departments more closely.
