Crotone sporting director Giuseppe Ursino discussed Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito and if he would fit the newly promoted side in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster TMW Radio this afternoon.
“Would Esposito be good for next year? I don’t like to talk much about the market when the season has not ended yet. We want to continue this positive streak of points and therefore win the last two games we have left to play.”
Inter are looking for a club to send 18-year-old Italian talent Esposito out on loan to, with many Italian sides interested in temporarily acquiring the young starlet, including Parma, Torino and Fiorentina.
The player was promoted to the Nerazzurri’s first team by coach Antonio Conte last summer, after impressing in the pre-season training camp.
Esposito has found limited playing time this season, making only 12 appearances across all competitions for the first team for a total of 268 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal, after converting a penalty against Genoa just before Christmas.
He has only played 15 minutes in the league since the season restart, so it’s crucial for Inter to find a new club for Esposito for next season.
