Inter will extend starlet forward Sebastiano Esposito’s contract to 2025 before sending him out on loan to a fellow Serie A side, according to a report from Italian media outlet Calciomercato.com.

The report details how the Nerazzurri want the 18-year-old Italian striker to gain regular playing time and experience on the pitch, but don’t want him to move to a club in Italy’s second tier, and so will only accept offers from clubs in Serie A.

This excludes the possibility of including his loan deal in a deal for Brescia midfielder Sandro Tonali, the report continues, after the Lombard side’s relegation. Newly promoted Crotone, as well as Parma and Torino, are keen to temporarily acquire the Italian teenager, the report continues.

The Nerazzurri have declined an advance from Atalanta who wanted to sign him, as the Nerazzurri believe in Esposito and want to keep him for the foreseeable future, the report concludes.
