Inter will play in their 2020/21 season home shirt for the first time in their penultimate Serie A match at home to Napoli tonight according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.
The design of the new home kit has divided opinion of fans since its release in recent weeks. Whilst traditional in the sense it is black and blue, it is not so traditional in the fact that rather than vertical stripes, the ‘stripes’ are instead zig zags.
The new Serie A name and number font will also be on show for the first time too. From next season all clubs will have the same name and number set.
Inter head into tonight’s encounter in second place and could well secure a second place finish depending on other results going their way.
This will be the fourth time that Inter and Napoli face off across all competitions this term. Inter have won one, as have Napoli whilst the other match ended in a draw.
