Inter manager Antonio Conte is to make a number of changes to the Inter starting line-up that started Saturday’s 3-0 win over Genoa for tonight’s clash at home to Napoli according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport.
Ashley Young and Antonio Candreva could both return at left wing-back and right wing-back respectively whilst Stefan de Vrij will be back in the centre of defence.
It remains to be seen who will play alongside de Vrij though in the three man back-line with Milan Skriniar, Danilo D’Ambrosio, Alessandro Bastoni and Diego Godin all vying for the final two spots.
Nicolo Barella will return in the midfield in place of the suspended Roberto Gagliardini and will play alongside Marcelo Brozovic.
The report goes on to explain that Borja Valero is undermining Christian Eriksen when it comes to the attacking midfield role.
Finally, Alexis Sanchez and Lautaro Martinez are battling it out between themselves to start alongside Inter top goalscorer Romelu Lukaku.
