Inter and Manchester United are in daily contact regarding Alexis Sanchez according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

Sanchez is currently on loan at Inter and have impressed, especially since the season resumed last month, Inter wish to keep a hold of him.

The former Barcelona and Arsenal star is also understood to be keen to remain with the Nerazzurri club and is prepared to agree to a pay cut to make it happen.

The report from the Rome based news outlet goes on to state that at the end of the season, Inter will initiate talks over a new contract with Sanchez’s fellow attacker Lautaro Martinez, who has been heavily linked with a potential move to Barcelona.

Lautaro is currently under contract until 2023 but Inter could extend his contract and also give him a salary raise to somewhere between €5-6 million plus add-ons.
