There has never been nor are there currently any negotiations taking place to bring Lionel Messi to Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet TuttoMercatoWeb.

Members of his entourage have denied recent media speculation concerning their client to TuttoMercatoWeb and insisted that Messi is a Barcelona player and has a contract with the La Liga powerhouses until the end of June 2021.

In recent days and weeks the multi-time world player of the year has been linked with a potential switch to Inter, with multiple sources stating his father’s imminent move to Milan could help facilitate Messi moving to the Nerazzurri.

Messi has spent the entirety of his playing career with Barcelona and some reports have suggested that he could well move on when his contract comes to an end in order to face a new challenge.

This season the 33-year-old has made 42 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 30 goals and provided 26 assists.
