Inter have been looking for a replacement for aging captain Samir Handanovic for some time now, with Cagliari’s Alessio Cragno being one of the top options, according to a report from Italian newspaper L’Unione Sarda earlier today.

The report details how the 26-year-old Italian shot stopper impressed this season with the Rossoblu, keeping three clean sheets and conceding 21 times in 16 appearances across all competitions.

The player missed the start of the season due to a shoulder injury but recovered well in the second half of the season, showing his qualities.

Cagliari are already taking steps to ensure that they have a replacement for Cragno should Inter sign the 26-year-old, the report continues.

The Rossoblu are interested in Torino shot stopper Salvatore Sirigu. The 33-year-old Italian has been one of the few bright spots in an otherwise sluggish Torino squad this season, keeping nine clean sheets in 44 appearances across all competitions.
