A report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport has analysed the comments made by Inter striker Lautaro Martinez’s agent Carlos Beto Yaque yesterday.

The report details how the 22-year-old’s agent suggested that talk of the player leaving Milan is simply media speculation and that his client is firmly happy to stay with the Nerazzurri.

It’s clear that Barcelona cannot afford to purchase Lautaro outright and would look to offer multiple players in exchange, not a particularly tempting offer for the Milanese club, who want at least €90 million for the player.

Beto Yaque knows that a transfer away from Inter is unlikely for his client, the report continues, and so a new contract is expected to arrive at the end of the season, extending his current deal from 2023 and increasing his wages to match the top players in the squad, like Romelu Lukaku, Christian Eriksen and Alexis Sanchez.
