In today’s print edition Italian daily newspaper Tuttosport have highlighted some of the reasons as to why Inter and Antonio Conte should stick together.

Conte’s future has been thrown up in the air due to his public outburst following Inter’s win over Atalanta on the final day of the 2019/20 Serie A season but parting ways with one another may not necessarily be the best way to go.

One of the main reasons for maintaining the status quo is increasingly linked to the converging mutual interests of both of the parties especially their shared desire to dethrone arch rivals Juventus and win the Serie A title.

The report goes on to state that if Inter parted ways with Conte and replaced him with Max Allegri and then failed, all blame would be attributed to the club, even if Allegri is currently seen as an absolutely adequate replacement for Conte.

Moreover, if Inter and Conte parted ways, the team nor the fans would understand a turnaround either.
