AC Milan have had an offer for Brescia central midfielder Sandro Tonali rejected according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia journalist and transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Rossoneri club met with Brescia president and owner Massimo Cellino to hold talks over the highly rated 20-year-old Italian national team player and during the meeting they presented an offer although Cellino swiftly rejected it.

As per the report, AC Milan made a loan with option to buy offer for Tonali but the figures of the deal proposed failed to convince Cellino.

AC Milan tried to take advantage of the fact Inter have not closed a deal to sign Tonali due to the fact they have been more focused on dealing with Antonio Conte’s future lately but AC Milan have failed to take advantage.

Reports elsewhere in the media have strongly linked Inter with Tonali and many have stated that Inter already have an agreement in principle with the player over personal terms.
