Inter attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen is up for sale, at least according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Il Giornale.

During Tuesday’s meeting between Inter manager Antonio Conte and club management, the main topic of which was deciding Conte’s future, the future of Danish national team player Eriksen with the club was also discussed.

Subsequently, at this meeting, the report continues, it was decided that should an offer for the player arrive, Inter will listen.

Inter only signed Eriksen back in the January transfer window in a circa €20 million deal from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur but Eriksen has struggled to perform to expectations and as a player he is not to Conte’s taste.

Inter beat Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain to the signing of Eriksen and the report goes on to state that if any club are to come forward for Eriksen, Inter will be more than willing to negotiate his sale.

Since joining Inter, the former Ajax player has made 26 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he scored four goals and provided three assists.
