Inter hope that they will be able to acquire Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal on a free transfer according to a report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired a short time ago.

Newly appointed Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has told Vidal that he is not part of his plans and as a result Vidal, who has under a year left to run on his current deal, could push to be allowed to leave for free.

Barcelona are however unwilling to let him go for free and the report explains that they will demand a sum of €15 million for the Chilean national team player.

Inter are waiting for developments before accelerating in their pursuit to bring Vidal to the club and satisfy manager Antonio Conte, who has wanted Vidal signed in each of the past two transfer windows.

During the 2019/20 season, Vidal made 43 appearances across all competitions, in which he scored eight goals and provided three assists.
