Once Inter wrap up the signing of Arturo Vidal, their focus will turn to Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera.

Inter manager Antonio Conte really wants Kante brought to the club as he believes that the Frenchman can really help to improve the team and will put pressure on the club to sign him.

Inter could possibly sign Kante in a €50 million deal but in order to make such an offer, Inter must raise funds through sales due to how the global COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the club’s finances.

Inter’s owners Suning’s financial situation has also been impacted by the pandemic with their revenues in the first six months of 2020 dropping by 12.65% from €16.7 million to €14.65 billion.

During the 2019/20 season, 29-year-old Kante made 28 appearances across all competitions. In his time on the park, which totalled just over 2300 minutes, the former Leicester City player scored a total of three goals.
