Gervinho’s name was brought up in talks between Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio and Parma sporting director Marcello Carli according to a report from the online edition of Italian daily newspaper Parma Today.

Ausilio and Carli met last week to hold talks over several young players but Gervinho’s name was also brought up in the conversation.

Inter would like to acquire him in a swap deal in exchange for several young players and the report claims that it is unlikely that the Nerazzurri club will be able to get him on this basis with Parma hoping to get as much money as possible via a sale.

The report goes on to explain that should Alejandro ‘Papu’ Gomez leave Atalanta, the Bergamo based club could move to sign Gervinho as his replacement.

During the 2019/20 season, the former Arsenal player made 32 appearances across all competitions. In his time on the park, which totalled just under 2400 minutes, he scored nine goals, including one against Inter, and also provided four assists for his teammates.
