Diego Godin’s future could be away from Inter and with Cagliari according toa report from Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset, which was aired earlier on today.

The veteran Uruguayan national team player has largely disappointed since his arrival at the Nerazzurri on a free transfer last Summer and the 34-year-old could join the Rossoblu club on a free transfer.

Godin may not be the only Inter defender to depart before the transfer window closes at the start of next month with the report adding that with the right offer Milan Skriniar could depart the club too.

Andrea Ranocchia meanwhile also seems set to bid farewell to Inter with other reports in the media linking him strongly with a move to Genoa.

The report goes on to explain that Iner could make two additions to the defensive department in the shape of Parma’s Matteo Darmian and Hellas Verona’s highly rated youngster Marash Kumbulla.
