SPAL could sign both Sebastiano Esposito and Lorenzo Pirola on loan from Inter according to a report from Italian news outlet FCInterNews.it.

SPAL are looking to bounce back to Serie A immediately following their relegation from Serie A at the end of the 2019/20 season and are looking to the top flight for reinforcements who could allow them to do just that.

SPAL’s sporting director Giorgio Zamuner has good relations with Inter’s sporting director Piero Ausilio and he would like to take advantage of this to try and get Esposito and Pirola on loan for the season.

The Ferrara based club are prepared to let Esposito and Pirola be undisputed starters in Serie B, something that would allow both players to gain experience and continue their development.

The two players have examined the possibility of a move to SPAL with their representatives. Esposito has the chance to go on loan to Parma, Spezia and Crotone but none can guarantee as much playing time as SPAL can.

Pirola has meanwhile had interest shown in him by Pescara and Inter are willing to let him go to the Delfini but the player has said nothing yet.
