Inter have confirmed that they have signed striker Andrea Pinamonti from fellow Serie A club Genoa via an official statement posted on the club website.

Inter have not confirmed what they have paid to bring the Inter youth academy graduate back to the club in their release nor have they provided details of the contract he has signed with the club, but it is widely known that his current deal expires at the end of June 2021.

Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia have reported that Pinamonti has signed a four year contract with the Nerazzurri club worth around €2 million a year to the player.

Pinamonti was sold to Genoa in the Summer of 2019 but as part of the deal there was a gentleman’s agreement reached between the clubs for Inter to re-sign him and the Nerazzurri club have honoured the agreement.

The 21-year-old Italian youth national team representative made 34 appearances across all competitions last season for Genoa, in which he scored seven goals and provided three assists for his teammates.
