Matteo Darmian is edging closer and closer to becoming an Inter player and Parma’s transfer activity is evidence of this according to a report in today’s print edition of Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Ducali club are working on a deal to bring in full back Giulian Biancone from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco. Biancone will be Darmian’s replacement at the Stadio Ennio Tardini and it is only a matter of time until Darmian becomes an Inter player.
Inter have a long standing agreement in place with Parma over the former Manchester United player who is primarily a right wing-back but capable of plaing anywhere across the defensive line.
Reports have stated that Inter and Parma have agreed a €2.5 million deal and other reports have stated that Inter will finalise the signing of Darmian once Antonio Candreva departs. Candreva is subject to interest from Sampdoria and has a contract offer on the table from them.
