Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio discussed Inter’s current position in the transfer market in an interview on Italian radio broadcast Deejay Football Club earlier today.

“Inter must complete the transfer of Ranocchia to Genoa, it will be done early next week. Then Darmian will join, he is already practically an Inter player, the contracts are already ready.

“Then everything else will depend on possible important sales, like Skriniar. If he leaves, we’ll see if the Nerazzurri will be able to reach their goals, first Milenković, then Smalling and Kabak.”

The Nerazzurri are working hard in the transfer market to provide coach Antonio Conte with the best possible squad ahead of this season’s fight against Juventus for the league title.

The 51-year-old Italian coach’s position at the club was confirmed in a meeting at the end of August, with the transfer policy changing to focus on signing more experienced veterans like Arturo Vidal and Aleksandar Kolarov.

The Milanese club have also been hard at work to sell unneeded players, with Uruguayan veteran Diego Godin leaving for Cagliari earlier this week.

Italian wing back Antonio Candreva also left Inter earlier this week, joining fellow Italian side Sampdoria.

Inter are still keen to sign Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante but the Frenchman’s high cost means that even with Skriniar sale, another player may need to be sold to raise the necessary funds.
