Inter and Matteo Darmian will both be able to benefit from the Italian tax laws according to a report from Italian news outlet Calcio e Finanza.
Darmian’s long awaited transfer to Inter was finalised earlier on today with the former Italian national team wing-back joining Inter in a loan with obligation to buy deal from fellow Serie A club Parma.
Darmian earned €1.5 million a year at Parma and benefitted from the tax laws due to him arriving at the club from abroad and he and Inter will both benefit from the tax relief for another two years.
Darmian will earn €2 million net a year or €2.62 million gross a year at Inter with multiple reports stating he has agreed to a four year contract with the club.
The versatile 30-year-old had been ever present for Parma this term prior to his move with him appearing in all three of their games although he has failed to make any goal contributions.
